Tank and Hoistad Receive Careers in Ag Scholarship
May 20, 2025

We are proud to announce the recipients of our 2025 Careers in Agriculture scholarships! For over 20 years, Full Circle Ag has been dedicated to supporting the next generation of agricultural leaders by awarding scholarships to students pursuing careers in ag.
Eligible applicants can be graduating high school seniors or students currently enrolled in a 2- or 4-year college, who live within the Full Circle Ag trade territory, are patrons of the cooperative, and are majoring in an agriculture-related field.
This year, we are thrilled to award two outstanding high school graduates who exemplify the values and vision of the future of agriculture.
Annika Tank
Britton-Hecla High School - SDSU
Annika will be attending South Dakota State University this fall, majoring in Ag Business. Passionate about the future of agriculture, Annika believes strongly in the cooperative model.
“I believe that cooperatives are vital to farmers, especially in small towns because they demonstrate teamwork to accomplish similar goals,” she shared. “Co-ops were started because we needed supplies such as fuel, fertilizer, chemical, seed, and other crop inputs to make farming more efficient. Co-ops provide services and resources to make farming more successful. That is why we need to work together to keep cooperatives growing and thriving.”
We are confident that Annika will make a positive impact in agriculture and in her community.
Michael Hoistad
Sargent Central High School - NDSU
Michael plans to attend North Dakota State University to study Agricultural Economics. He understands the importance of cooperatives in sustaining rural communities and supporting farmers.
“Cooperatives are super important to farmers and our communities because they help people work together to be stronger and become more successful,” Michael wrote in his application. “In communities, cooperatives make sure people have fresh food, fair prices, and good jobs. They also help keep small farms running, so families can keep farming for generations.”
Michael’s passion for agriculture and cooperative values make him a strong voice for the future of the industry.
Please join us in congratulating both Annika and Michael on their well-deserved scholarships. We are proud to support young leaders like them who are committed to agriculture and who understand the importance of working together for the future of farming.
